Integrity

CODE OF ETHICS:

The Indangações em Educação Journal (IeE) is concerned with the ethical aspects involved in research and academic publications. The works undergo plagiarism verification through NoPlagio. We emphasize that works containing plagiarism will be rejected. In the case of detection of plagiarism in published articles, they will be rejected and a retraction will be published.

We present below some principles that should be considered:

Authorship

An author is everyone who has effectively participated in the conception, development, and final writing of the submitted work. Therefore, it is expected that each author has contributed substantially to the conception and construction of the article; or have executed or have worked on the writing; or worked on substantial revision. In addition, all authors should approve the version for submission, agreeing to be held responsible for the information contained in the article, including the truthfulness and adequacy of the investigation and integrity of the work. Care should be taken not to improperly include or exclude authors, giving credibility, in fact, to those who worked on the article. Furthermore, all authors should have their metadata indicated in the submission, highlighting (full name, email, institution, and ORCID). After submission, the inclusion or exclusion of co-author(s) will not be allowed. The author(s) identification should be included only in the metadata. The text should not present any indications that allow the evaluator to recognize, directly or indirectly, the authorship of the work.

Uniqueness

IeE condemns plagiarism in its various forms of presentation and, in this sense, asks authors to ensure the originality of the work, make proper use of citations, and avoid excessive self-citation. The Journal reserves the right to refuse works in which plagiarism or a high level of self-plagiarism is identified. The Journal considers as "unique" the submission that has not been published in Annals and/or event pages in Portuguese available on the Web (congresses, seminars, meetings, etc.), as well as in journals published in Portuguese. Being unique, the work would only be available on the Web after publication in IeE.

Conflict of interest

In their works, authors should be responsible for revealing any conflicts of interest of a personal, political, academic, commercial, financial, or other nature. Thus, in addition to IeE not being responsible for the ideas contained in the published texts, it reserves the right to refuse submissions that may cause damage to its image or to others.

BASIS

The Journal follows the principles of COPE - Commitee on Publication Ethics.

We indicate as basic guidelines for authors, reviewers, and editors the text prepared by CNPq (Access the text here)..
