POEMA ENUNCIADO

UMA ANÁLISE BAKHTINIANA

Abstract

Considering the concepts conceived by the Bakhtin’s Circle referring to language, this article seeks to present a new reading of the poem Mas, by the contemporary poet, Francisco Alvim. In his work Elefante (2000), Alvim rescues everyday, almost proverbial, utterances and reintroduces them, poetically and critically, reformulated and revalued. The analysis of the poem Mas is organized by the Bakhtinian standpoint that every utterance is unique and unrepeatable, and that, therefore, the same utterance, within a new immediate social context, becomes a new ideological sign. The sign, in Bakhtin/Volochinov's (2014) perception, essentially conceptualizes the treatment of ideology through language as a constant process of dialogue-mediated interaction, through concrete utterances.
