Abstract

This study discusses the enunciation of the black, in an existentialist perspective, as a political act and as a device to open gaps and cultivate possibilities of counterattack to the forces of sub-humanization and death, which systematically affect black bodies and condemn them to a way of existing without the right to dignity, just like an abject. In this way, language is considered as a tool that contributes and enhances the efforts to think and resist, to communicate and denaturalize the violence of the bourgeois anti-Black State. The objective of this research is centered around the need to outline understandings about the way language enables the construction of the black, but which black subject modifies the language to make it circulate through other currents. To this end, this study is developed around the notion of humanity present in Pele Negra Máscaras Brancas, by Frantz Fanon (2020). This work is read here in the light of Fanonian existential questions, along with poems from Pesado Demais para a Ventania (2018), by Ricardo Aleixo.
