O TRABALHO INFANTIL NO CONTEXTO BRASILERO

Abstract

This text aims to reflect on child labor in the Brazilian context, considering possible justifications and the consequences of this type of work. This essay is justified by presenting the impacts that labor activities performed by children have on their lives, both socially and physically and mentally. To do so, a qualitative bibliographical methodology was used, relying on the texts of Alkmim and Souza (2017), Muniz (2008), and the Federal Constitution of 1988. In conclusion, it is of utmost importance to combat child labor to protect the physical and mental dignity of children, thus providing them with a dignified adult life.
