RADICAL GOVERNANCE, INNOVATIVE MODELS AND ALTERNATIVES TO TRADITIONAL GOVERNANCE

This article explores the concept of radical governance as an alternative to traditional models, analyzing its theoretical foundations, innovative models such as self-management and holacracy, and the theory of radical democracy as a basis. Through case studies in Brazil, including worker-recovered companies, EPPO Brasil, and the Workers' Party, the article compares radical governance with traditional governance, highlighting their divergences, advantages, and challenges. The appropriate research methodology for investigating the adoption of radical governance is discussed, emphasizing the combination of qualitative case studies and quantitative methods. The article concludes that radical governance offers a path towards more democratic, participatory, and adaptable organizational models, with significant implications for management and organization.
