Abstract

Virtual assistants, devices that are currently gaining a lot of popularity, can be of great use when it comes to accessibility. This text seeks to reflect on the way that virtual assistants can help in accessibility for people with visual impairments, in addition to talking about this technology and its basis in deep learning, it presents indispensable functions that it has and its contributions to the construction and growth of accessibility, thinking about people who are visually impaired. Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of making information about the technology of virtual assistants known so that more people have the possibility of having access to them and can make use of all the accessibility that it can provide.
