DESCONSTRUINDO METANARRATIVAS COLONIAIS A PARTIR DE ESTRATÉGIAS MAIS-QUE-REPRESENTACIONAIS

As metanarrativas coloniais são muito dominantes e registram sequelas na paisagem e nos comportamentos sociais em espaços e tempos diferentes. Este artigo visa apresentar o modo de desconstrução de metanarrativas coloniais por intermédio da abordagem mais-que-representacional. A abordagem problematizada neste artigo, não visa substituir a narrativa do opressor pela do oprimido. Fiel ao modus operandi da desconstrução que promove, a perspectiva mais-que-representacional vislumbra deslocar os eixos totalizantes da representação, que se apresentam como fulcrais para as narrativas, propondo uma aproximação frente aos discursos pulverizados que demandam intermediação. Todavia, se vê que o debate epistemológico mais-que-representacional está bem mais desenvolvido do que os trabalhos empíricos, o que denunciam a jovialidade e imaturidade da abordagem em questão. Conclui-se que, devido a sua expressiva potência crítica, a abordagem mais-que-representacional merece ser contemplada, ainda que se tenha que enfrentar desafios importantes para a transposição empírica.
