About the Journal

The Education Inquiries Magazine (IeE) is a publication of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG). It is electronically edited every semester and publishes theoretical and/or empirical research results, essays, book reviews, experience reports and interviews. The journal accepts articles in continuous demand, as well as the proposal of dossiers. Its objective is to disseminate studies and research in the field of education from various theoretical and methodological perspectives that can contribute to foster a broad debate in the field of Human and Social Sciences based on three axes: the historical, philosophical, sociological foundations, political and psychological aspects that involve the educational process; the study of pedagogical cultures and practices associated with teaching and learning processes; and the teaching of science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and mathematics, as well as educational technologies. The Indagações em Educação Magazine does not accept works submitted simultaneously for publication in books or other periodicals, either in the country or abroad. Published articles express the point of view of their authors and not the position of the Journal or the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG). It is a free and open access publication. It is noteworthy that the authors assign copyright to the journal, including the right of first publication, with the work licensed under the Creative Commons License CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

Open Access Policy

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge. 

There are no fees for submission, evaluation and publication of articles.

Archiving

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create an archive system distributed among the participating libraries and allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. Know more ...
