Abstract

In light of the debate on the right to the city in Henri Lefebvre, this study seeks to contribute to the understanding of the context of origin of the Quinta da Boa Música cultural project in Varginha (MG) and its influence on the process of requalification of the city's Railway Station. This is, therefore, a case study that, based on a set of articles reported in the local media, examines the dynamics of narrative disputes regarding the appropriation of public space.
